Italian engravers in a detailed technique that is hand-finished engrave this piece. It is available in four dazzling colors plated in 22k yellow gold and two in rhodium, red enamel with jet-black acrylic, pink with jet-black acrylic, champagne with jet-black acrylic, blue enamel with jet-black acrylic. The two in rhodium are yellow and rhodium with jet-black acrylic, and blue enamel with jet-black acrylic. Each is limited in production of 888. The Executive Fountain is a perfect writing instrument that has the same solid 18k gold nib that we use on our high-end writing instrument. The Metropolitan is an exquisite design inspired by the magnificent Metropolitan architecture of the late 1800s, and early 1900s. This Michel Perchin piece represents the creation and admiration of our beloved cities around the world.
Each piece is meticulously hand-crafted in Europe from a solid rod of .925 sterling silver and engraved to the highest world-class goldsmith standards. Multiple layers of translucent enamel are baked on to the guilloche (engraved) pattern adding depth and beauty to the herringbone design. This synergism of the latest technology and old-world craftsmanship produces a classic design with a transparency of modern sophistication.
Fitted with Michel Perchin's 18k gold nib, the Metropolitan is available in a fountain or roller ball. The Metropolitan is available in four dazzling colors produced in Royal Blue, Ruby Red, Shagreen, and Coronation Yellow with Jet-Black on the ends of both sides of the barrel. Limited production of 15 in Shagreen and 15 in Yellow. Other models are limited to only 88 of each piece, the Metropolitan is available in a medium, broad, or fine nib.
