Chronoswiss Delphis Jump Hour Copper Dial Watch

38mm stainless steel. Copper dial. Sapphire crystal front and back. Blue crocodile strap. Deployment buckle. The first wristwatch to combine three different display systems in one timepiece, the Delphis is powered by the calibre C.124 (a retrograde jump-hour display). After reaching the endpoint of the dial's semicircular arc, the blued central minute hand instantly leaps back to its starting point. In addition, when the minute hand reaches the "0" position, the digital hour indicator below the standard "12" position spins rapidly forward to show the next number. To power these two simultaneous jumps, the patented, 60-piece cadrature atop the movement continuously accumulates energy for 60 minutes before releasing it at the end of each hour. Below the minute hand the progress of seconds is shown in familiar analog fashion.
